Ride Around the Lake

ridearoundthelake Ride Around the LakeGet the family out of the house this May and be apart of Ride Around The Lake. On Saturday May 2, Ninefourone FM is supporting Lighthouse Community Care’s inaugural Ride Around the Lake charity ride at Lake Illawarra.

The main event will be a 40km ride around Lake Illawarra, starting and finishing at the Illawarra Yacht Club (Northcliffe Drive, Warrawong) at 8am, with two more waves starting at 8.15am and 8.30am. 12km and 4km Kid’s Club rides will start shortly afterwards—check our website for more details

Ride Around the Lake aims to raise much needed funds for the lighthouse community center local youth housing initiative called ‘My Place’. The funds will go directly to a facility providing accommodation and mentoring for displaced young people. A portion will also go directly to MS Australia to support their programs and services for people living with MS while a search for a cure continues. Click here for details.
